On Tuesday, we will spell catch, catcher, kitchen, butcher, black, warm, unless, clothing, clothes, clothe.  On Wednesday ,  we spell  began, begin, begun, able, gone, go, done, do, suit, track.   Please continue to dictate each word one and at time to your child as he or she practices them each evening. Ask your child to tell you when and where we use “ck” in a word.   POETRY Your child should have “Something Told the Wild Geese” memorized by the end of the week. We begin recitations on Wednesday by invitation. Please refer to the recitation rubric to help your child prepare to recite with confidence.
